Tyen Masten presented at the WOW - Work on Wood by FINSA as part of conferences and workshops on Design Thinking. The conference spanned over 1 week with 3 speakers for 5 days.

As part of the larger conversation on Design Thinking, Tyen discussed how to educate and create a new generation of thinkers as the key to unlock innovation. To empower creative thinkers to build more creatively. To explore the unconventional and think more inclusively. To design with kindness for a world of different.

In order to have an impact on future generations we argue that this needs to come from within, having a different office culture, company strategy and pushing those people to think differently about the programmatic in front of them. To think about different futures, tools, and perspectives and changing the way we engage with the world. Making for different contexts and building technologies we produce. We are only a small piece of the puzzle, but in engaging with intent we can inspire more to follow and have a meaningful impact on the built environment, our profession and our communities.
